Alrighty then. 

We are looking for alternatives to binary think.  We are exhausted by Either/Or. The oversimplified version of life that dumbs us down as a society! 

We're looking for defiance.  Go into the gray, the fray, the smoke of the polar narratives and bring out more complex perspectives.  Get filthy, get injured, risk it all. 

We're looking for poetry from poets who are willing to let it rip. No holding back.

Why not!?  There are more poets submitting to journals than journals have the capacity to handle so, we offer you another outlet to get your voice out to the masses!  Each journal, each editor is looking for something different for their publication.  What one journal doesn't want; another will.  Gut Punch Literary Journal is not looking for pretty, polished poetry.
